Group 4 Securicor
Group 4 Securicor was formed by the merger of the two worldwide security providers, the UK based Securicor and the Danish Group 4 Falck AS, in July 2004. In the US the name Wackenhut remains provisionally in use, however in over 100 countries, the group now operates as Group 4 Securicor. This merger has made the new organisation a global leader in the security market. G4S has some 400,000 employees in service worldwide and is active in no less than 100 countries, supporting the slogan of the new organisation: "a World of Security Solutions".
